Yesterday was Transfiguration Sunday. The day we celebrate when Jesus went up to the mountain top with Peter, James, and John and was transfigured and seen standing with Moses and Elijah. It is a holy day, and I can’t imagine what a “mountain top” experience it was for the disciples who went along.
As I was pondering what to write this morning, I ran across Nadia Bolz-Weber’s sermon she posted. I loved her take on this passage in scripture and I have put the link to it here for you. It is well worth the time to read. I hope it is as meaningful to you as I found it to be.
Blessings,
Pastor Beth
Good for you. (But what about the rest of us?) (substack.com)
